Celebration – National Mathematics Day

On May 6, 2025, the Mathematics for All Fair II took place alongside the Celebration – National Mathematics Day event at the Federal University of Viçosa.

The event was held in the format of a project fair, where registered teams from regional schools with approved projects presented their work. Resources used included models, posters, didactic experiments, results from investigative projects, and prototypes, among others. The projects were presented in an accessible, engaging, dynamic, and interactive way, allowing visitors to handle, interpret, or discuss them.

It’s important to highlight that elementary school Mathematics teachers from the region registered a total of 44 teams, composed of 1 (one) to a maximum of 4 (four) participants, for the Mathematics for All Fair competition. All presentations and projects were evaluated by a team of professors from the event’s organizing committee. The winning teams and schools received prizes and gift kits.
